What a Wedding venue and what a perfect weekend we had in May 2024! As soon as we viewed the venue in 2022, we were blown away! All I wanted was to be married next to water with lots of lights and this did not disappoint. The Estate itself is beautiful and idyllic, but the wedding valley is something else. Steph and the Betty’s Tipis team really looked after us and remained in regular contact plus we attended their wedding showcase events a few times, which we would highly recommend, but we used this as an excuse to keep visiting the venue and the team to be honest!! Steph is super organised and so knowledgeable; she brought so much calm to my wedding prep chaos. We had exclusive use of the venue from Friday to Monday so had time to relax before and after our ceremony, staying in the beautiful Riverside House, using the bridal suite plus we also booked Stables House for some of our guests. We had other guests staying on site too and everyone loved the estate. We have visited many times and intend to continue doing so for years to come. It really was the perfect setting for us, and we would highly recommend Gisburne Park to anyone looking to book their wedding. Thanks so much, Christine & Chris “The McArdles”

Visited the bonfire, very well organised with some food and drink outlets. Bonfire and fireworks were really good.

We got married at Gisburne Park in September 2024 and stayed at Riverside House for the weekend. The wedding valley is beautifully maintained and very private. Riverside house is in an idyllic spot, next to the river, between the ceremony tipi & reception tipi and has all the amenities you could want including a hot tub. There's plenty of space for 6 people, with a large kitchen, dining room, 2 reception rooms, conservatory and outdoor seating with fire pit. The 'bridal suite' with it's large dressing area and bathroom is also pretty special. We only had a few months to plan our wedding, but Stephanie made the process much easier, and was always on-hand to answer any questions. As this was our first (and hopefully last) wedding, her advice was invaluable. We're so glad we chose Gisburne Park to get married, and couldn't wait to get back, so have booked the bonfire event in November.

A beautiful chilled day — everything we ever wanted Gisburne Park Estate was the first venue we viewed. We both knew it was where we wanted to be married from the moment we set eyes on it. (We did look at one other venue, but our heads were never going to be turned.) From first being driven round the site by Steph and Jack, we knew this was the place and that these were the people we wanted to look after us and our guests. As we have family that would be coming up from London and the south coast, we were looking for a venue where everyone could be for the whole weekend. Joe’s parents, sisters and family were all able to stay together in The Stables House. Guests also stayed in the lodges at Ribblesdale Park, some glamped and a few couples stayed in the nearby White Bull pub. The site and the hot tubs were an all round big hit — what’s not to love when you’re greeted by deer and peacocks? We’d spent a couple of weekends at the lodges in the year before the wedding, so could recommend the accommodation and all the facilities in the area with full confidence. Steph was in regular contact from the time of booking to the weekend itself, helping us keep the planning all in good order and manageable. We had a wide range of ages to cater for, with one third of our guests under 18 and a fair few over 70s. So it was important to us that our wedding be as informal and chilled as possible, with the ceremony and photos being the only time where guests were required to be in a particular spot for any length of time. We wanted everyone to be free to do their thing and enjoy the party in their own ways. Steph, Jack and Tracy helped us to achieve this. We opted for the BBQ menu from Betty’s Kitchen and guests were free to eat outside or inside at tables of their choosing. The food was superb and everyone could select their food on the day, with all dietary requirements catered for without fuss. The late night pizzas were a big hit and helped keep the dancers going until midnight. Ste, the technician from Six15 did a great job with the dance floor lighting and was just lovely to have around on the day. As were all the bar and catering staff; they’re a really friendly, helpful team. We did have a timeline set out, but everyone was free to do as they wished and we made use of all the space in the tipis, outside in the grounds and around the fire pits. There was an epic 3 hour game of football, that continued through the speeches (with our blessing)! On the Sunday we enjoyed chilli and cake in the tipis followed by time at the pool. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t so kind to us that day, but the sun came out at all the right times on the wedding day itself. If it hadn’t, the tipis are so roomy we know we would all have been just fine. The day was all that we had hoped for and it was a truly special and very “us”. The ceremony tipi, in the woods by the stream is magical. Being able to stay in the middle of it all in Riverside House is just dreamy. I was tipped off by another bride to make sure I looked out the window to watch our guests walking down the hill and seeing the venue for the first time — such a lovely moment. The words of my uncle: “It was a wonderful day. Creative, imaginative, unique, easy-going, spectacular, poetic, ethereal, grounded. What more to say.” And another friend commented just how “accessible and joyful it was for all”, which meant a huge amount to us as it was our aim and of course we could not have achieved that without all the efforts of the Gisburne and Betty’s Tipis team. Gisburne is a very special place. We loved our day and are looking forward to coming back to stay at Ribblesdale Park for anniversaries or family get togethers in the years to come.

We wanted a special wedding venue that had the WOW and as soon as we drove down the fairylight lit lane into this valley we got the WOW. Gisburne Park Estate is a truly magical place, we couldn't believe how beautiful it is and it was even more spectacular on our wedding day. Stephanie & Jack, I can't thank enough for how amazing they were in the preparation for the day and for the whole weekend of. They were always super friendly and open to all our questions/requests. They were very patient and understanding in knowing we wouldn't be totally on top of all the planning with working full time etc and were very flexible around that. Honestly, we couldn't have dreamed for a more perfect wedding experience and it is largely due to this venue and the really lovely team they have running the show. If you're remotely considering going to view this place, do it, you will not regret it.

We got married at Gisburne Park in July 2024 and had the most magical day! It was the perfect outdoor setting we had pictured with the stream running through the valley which made for beautiful pictures. Steph and Tracey were absolutely fantastic from initially booking to execution of all our ideas on the day, nothing was too much trouble. The house was immaculate and there were beautiful flowers left to congratulate us on our special weekend. Having the house for the 3 days meant we could thoroughly settle in for the whole weekend and make the place our own.

Gisburne Park, for us, was the perfect venue to get married in. It’s hidden away from the busy towns and is the most magical place. We booked it last year and had our wedding in August 2024, Steph at Gisburne Park Estate was so helpful with keeping everything organised, suggesting suppliers, inviting us to viewings. Everything was made so easy for us from planning the wedding and on the day itself. The location is stunning, the river is so scenic with a serene atmosphere. It was everything I dreamed of since we first started looking for a venue and we had the best time staying at the riverside house too. We would highly recommend this venue if you’re looking for somewhere romantic and magical to have your special day, it’s one of a kind.

We got married at Gisburne in August this year and had the most amazing weekend. Steph was fantastic and worked so hard to make sure our wedding day went off without a hitch. She also ensured there was a really smooth handover to Jack and Tracy and the rest of the Betty’s Tipis team for our special day. Gisburne Park Estate is an incredible location for a wedding. We stayed in Riverside house for the weekend, which is such an amazing house, perfect for a long weekend and spotless throughout. We also had about 60 guests staying onsite in lodges and the stables who all loved their stays and accommodation. We had the exclusive use of the valley all weekend which was extra special, and meant we could host close friends and family back at the Tipis on the Sunday. We also want to say a big thank you to Lauren and Lucie and the team at hindelinis for hosting 50 of our guests for food and drinks on the Friday evening which was such a great start to the weekend. Jamie and Hayley xx
